Tell about yourself and your background! *
Good day guys names Troy! Born and raised in Melbourne Australia. Been in the states for about 7 years. My background is Waterskiing and Wakeboarding. I began my stunt journey 4 years ago. A good friend on mine Paul O’Connor who Is an amazing stunt performer, helped me get into it all. I’m always learning new skills from, fighting, wrecks, rigging and wire work.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
I became a stunt performer because it’s a job that always keeping you on your toes! One day you could be getting hit by a car. The next your playing dead. I love the thills and Adrenaline rush.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
Being humble and always being willing to be a pad holder or the drink guy haha.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
I would say the stunt community and being able to do what ppl only dream of doing.
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
Hmmm stunt story ha. Mine would be probably one of the most easiest gigs I’ve done. I had to be tackled out of a wheelchair., simple right. As I got taken down the other stunt performer had a prop weapon in his hand. So as we fell the hammer of the gun hits the back of my head leading to a massive gash spilling out blood! With the whole set asking me am I ok. All us stunties know we don’t show pain!
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
I would say it’s consistency. Learn everything you think will better your course. Take your skills and perfect them like art. Be humble and you’ll go far.
Anything else you'd like to tell the community about?
I’m a big car guy. Love anything with an engine or anything that get the ole heart pumping.
