Tell about yourself and your background! *
I am a 25 year veteran stuntman as well as a Police Officer with street crime training and ATV training for over 20 years plus a World Ice Carver with a few awards
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
I was doing background work on a famous TV show when I saw the action scene being shot and said I would like to try that it looks cool and I have the talent to do some of the gags so I worked hard and hustle
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
Awesomeness around you when you are doing a big gag it helps you develop a 6 sense for safty I remember one gag we’re I was blown out of a window backwards threw the glass and drop 30 feet to the pads was great and only one shot at doing the stunt planing is a lot and making sure you can do it with out getting hurt and hurting others “Know Your Limits What you can do “ and make the Coordinator happy
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
When you get the call to work it’s shows yourself that the Coordinator has confidence in you to make his vision of the gag come true and when you do a good job the whole crew cheers for you
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
There are a lot when I was asked to double a famous actor on a big feature and got on the set went to makeup and wardrobe and got on the set they said are you ready to fly in a helicopter and it is going over the ocean then going to look like it will crash in the woods I said ok got in the helicopter and took off was the best gag ever like a Disneyland ride but more crazy plus got paid to do it can’t get any better then that loved it
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
Pray and Ask the good Lord to open doors if it is your dream go for it but remember one thing don’t Lie to the Coordinator that you can do the gag and deep down you are not sure of yourself tell him or her and they will respect you by telling the truth and no one gets hurt
Anything else you'd like to tell the community about?
It is they best job in the world you travel you work with great people that trust you and Respect everyone on the set from the background people to the caterers everyone has a job to do to make the show look good
